Humanitees was started in the 90s by 3 founders, Tim Boylan, Dave Highbloom, and Steve Kemler. They had one mission: to make clothing that sparks conversation and action for the planet.

After a decade of making waves in environmental fashion, the brand took a pause. But the mission never left our family—it was just waiting for the right moment to come back stronger.

In 2025, two of the founders' sons, Luke Boylan and Landon Highbloom, relaunched Humanitees to re-engage a new generation in the environmental movement: binging back the bold designs, sustainable fabrics, and a commitment to donate $1 a shirt to high-impact nonprofits.

The name is a mashup of “Humanity” and “Tees.” It’s about connecting people through clothing and standing for something bigger than ourselves.
